Disney released a Free Dining Promotion for select dates in September, November and December 2019.

Not included: Disney's All-Star Movies Resort; Disney's Port Orleans Riverside and French Quarter Resorts, 3-bedroom villas, campsites, Cabins at Copper Creek - Wilderness Lodge, Bungalows at Disney's Polynesian Villas, Little Mermaid Standard rooms at Disney's Art of Animation Resort.
Deluxe Resorts - Guests who book a qualifying vacation package at a Disney World deluxe resort receive the Standard / Plus Dining Plan at no extra cost. This dining plan included 1 counter-service meal credit, 1 table-service meal credit, and 2 snack credits per person, per night of stay. Receiving this dining plan free of charge will saved a family of four about $202 to $301 (depending on the ages of the children) per night of stay, based on the regular cost of this dining plan. You could upgrade to the Deluxe dining plan by just paying the difference between the standard and the deluxe plans. Contact us for details.
Value Resorts & Moderate Resorts - Guests who book a qualifying vacation package at a Disney World Value or Moderate Resort received the Disney Quick-Service Dining plan at no extra cost. The quick-service plan provides two quick/counter-service meals + 2 snacks per person, per night of stay. Receiving this plan at no extra cost saves a family of four about $148 to $208 per night of stay, depending on the ages of the children. You can upgrade to the Standard or Deluxe dining plans by paying the difference between the quick service dining plan and your preferred dining plan.
Minimum Requirements: You needed to purchase a package that includes at least four (4) Consecutive nights stay at a Disney Resort + at least 4-Day Disney Magic Your Way theme park tickets that include either the Park Hopper or Park Hopper Plus (Water Park) options. Maximum stay: 14 days.
Other Details: We can generally put a 3-day courtesy hold on a package for you, after that you must pay a $200 deposit to hold the reservation and the balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. The deposit is completely refundable up to 30 days prior to arrival so there is no risk at this time. If you think you want to take advantage of Free Dining, book a room and then cancel later, if necessary.
Exclusions: Fort Wilderness campsites, Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter Resort, Disney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort, Disney's All-Star Movies, all 3-bedroom villas, all rooms and villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort, Villas at Bay Lake Tower, all rooms and villas at Disney's Wilderness Resort, all rooms and villas at Disney's Polynesian Resort, and Little Mermaid rooms at Disney's Art of Animation Resort are typically excluded from this offer. The Cabins at the Fort Wilderness campground and Family Suites at Disney's Art of Animation are generally included in the promotion. Not every room category is included in the offer for every date.
Existing reservations falling within promotion days can often be altered (subject to availability) to reflect the free dining promotion after it is released. We do this automatically for our clients but you may have to call and ask to have the discount applied – it will not happen automatically - if you book with someone else. If you do not have us book this for you, be sure to tell the booking agent that you want the free dining promotion when it is released; they do not automatically apply promotions to new or existing reservations – you must specifically ask for the discount.
Dining Reservations – Dining can be booked up to 180 days prior to your arrival. Book your dining reservations as soon as you are eligible. The free dining promotion has a serious impact on the number of available dining reservations and some restaurants will fully book very early. Remember that we book dining reservations on your behalf (subject to availability) when you book your Disney vacation through Build A Better Mouse Trip.

How Past Disney World Free Dining Promotions Worked
Summer Meal Deal at Disney World Value Resorts
In the past, Disney announced to different promotions. In late December or early January, they have released a limited dining offer for Disney World value resorts only where guests who meet the minimum stay and ticket requirements at the qualifying Disney World value resort hotels received one free quick-service meal per person, per night of stay. While this doesn’t seem that impressive at first glance, it actually provided a value that was equal to a pretty significant percentage of the nightly hotel cost and was really a better deal than the alternative room rate discount which is often only 10% or 15% of the cost of the hotel. Guests could apply the assigned value of the free plan towards the cost of one of the other Disney Dining Plans. Disney World Moderate and Deluxe resorts were excluded from this promotion.
