Disneyland Park Ride closures:
Astro Orbitor will be closed January 7, 2019 until further notice.
Fantasmic! will be closed January 21 - March 7, 2019. Fantasmic! returns on March 8, 2019 at 9:00 & 10:30 PM. See the F
‘it’s a small world” will be closed from January 22, 2019 until further notice.
Sailing Ship Columbia will be closed from January 22, 2019 until further notice.
Sleeping Beauty Castle Beautification Project - The Castle Walkway will be closed from January 17, 2019 until further notice and the exterior of the castle will also undergo refurbishment.
Splash Mountain will be closed February 4 - 14, 2019
Space Mountain will be closed February 25 - until further notice.
Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple will have its last day on November 3, 2018.
Disneyland Fireworks & Fantasmic Schedule
Disneyland currently only offers fireworks on select evenings. The current nightly evening spectacular is a 10-minute dance party and projection show on Main Street USA called “Mickey’s Mix Magic” and may occur more than once an evening. It as listed as “Mickey’s Mix Magic with Fireworks” if fireworks are included in the performance.

Fantasmic! takes place on the Rivers of America and is a 27-minute live performance with Disney characters, special effects, and pyrotechnics. FastPasses or Fantasmic Dining Package seating vouchers make it easier to see this show but there are stand-by viewing areas too, subject to availability. FastPasses can be acquired on the day of viewing near the Mark Twain boat dock; these FastPasses do not have the time delay before getting another FastPass that regular ride and attraction FastPasses have which means that you should get your Fantasmic Fastpasses as early in the day as possible.
Fantasmic! is currently scheduled for March 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, 17 at 9PM & 10:30PM.
Disney California Adventure Park Ride Closures:
World of Color closed until further notice.
Grizzly River Run will be closed from January 7, 2019 until further notice.
Silly Symphony Swings will be closed from March 4, 2019 until further notice.
A bug's land (all rides & attractions) will close permanently at the end of the day on September 4, 2018 to make room for a new Marvel Superhero area. Flik's Flyers will be moved to Pixar Pier where it will get a new theme and be renamed Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind.
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa: No closures at this time.
Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel - No closures at this time
Disneyland Hotel -D-Ticket pool, Monorail pool and Waterslides, and Mickey and Minnie Spas closed January 7 - March 2019. The E-ticket pool will remain open and guests may also use the California Streamin’ slide at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel.

2019 Get Your Ears On - A Mickey and Minnie Celebration! Mickey Mouse turned 90 and that calls for a big celebration with lots of special experiences at Disneyland Resort. Mickey’s Mix Magic, a new, high energy projection 10-minute show will debut on January 18th and will be presented most evenings, with some evenings also including fireworks. Lunar New Year Celebration at Disney California Adventure from January 25 - February 17, 2019 featuring Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession parade and four Asian Marketplaces offering special foods as well as crafts with local artisans and commemorative merchandise.
at Disney California Adventure Park on February 11, 2019. Visit Fan Headquarters at Stage 17 from 10am to 7PM to see Anaheim Ducks memorabilia and get your photo with a very special mascot. There will be a Cavalcade at 1:15pm along Hollywood Blvd. and Buena Vista Street featuring some of your favorite Anaheim Ducks players. Meet & Greet with Players and Alumni at State 12 at 2:15, 3:15 and 4:15PM.
Halloween at Disneyland - 2019 dates to be announced. Halloween decorations and special attraction overlays make this a really fun time to visit the parks. At Disney California Adventure, Cars Land gets into the spirit as the town temporarily changes its name to "Radiator Screams"; Mater's Jackyard Jamboree becomes Mater's Junkyard JamBOOree and Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters becomes Luigi's Honkin' Haul-O-Ween. You'll also want to experience Guardians of the Galaxy - Monsters after Dark! Disneyland guests will find fun jack-o-lanterns along Main Street USA and enjoy the special ride overlays at Haunted Mansion Holiday, inspired by Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas, and Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy. Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge - Opening Summer 2019! This exciting new area will feature two new attractions: Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance set at the thriving port of Batuu and the Black Spire Outpost.
Disneyland Parades: Disneyland has the Pixar Play Parade in the afternoon and Disney California has the Paint the Night parade on select evenings.
Mickey's Halloween Party is a fun, separately-ticketed event that takes place on 15 nights this year - 2019 Party Dates: To Be Announced. Halloween Party Guests can enjoy the Frightfully Fun parade, Halloween Screams - A Villainous Surprise in the Skies Fireworks, and the Ride of the Headless Horseman.
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort - 2019 dates to be announced.. Enjoy festive Christmas decorations, food, music and special events. Disney California Adventure, Cars Land is full of holiday spirit as Mater's Jackyard Jamboree temporarily becomes Mater's Jingle Jamboree and Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters becomes Luigi's Joy to the Whirl. Experience the Disney ¡Viva Navidad! Street Party where the Three Caballeros are joined by musicians, dancers and giant mojiganga puppets.
